From Highlands, we take extreme care when choosing our Best Agave Plants to extract the finest “Miel”.

 

The Blue Agave Tequilana Webber plant ensures the craft of the finest tequila available.

Our Blue Agave plant is ripped 7 to 12 years after it is planted.

THE COOKING

After the best “Piñas” are hauled to our distillery, we cook the agave hearts Slowly in old  fashion rubblework furnaces for a period of 48 hrs.

In the milling process, we shred and squeeze the cooked agave to extract our agave juice called: “Mosto” that is going to be fermented.

El Decreto®, artisanal Double Distillation tequila  eliminates highest percentage of distilled alcohol to keep the best quality in balance, body, texture and palate pleasure.

MATURATION & AGING

El Decreto® is carefully rested in American Medium Char Oak Barrels from 8 to 47 months period.

 

This maturing period time ensures our high quality profile under unique tasting notes for tequila connoisseurs.
